GiveUp questions and answers

Answers to common questions about GiveUp, the Habit Mesh, relapse handling, privacy, plans, and platforms.

What habits can I track with GiveUp?

Anything you're giving up or cutting down — sugar, white bread, tea, coffee, cigarettes, alcohol, and more. You can track several at once, each with its own streak, unit, and cost.

What is the Habit Mesh?

It's the heart of GiveUp: a glowing network where each habit is a node connected to the others. Nodes grow and brighten as your streaks get longer, turning your progress into something visual you want to protect.

What happens when I relapse?

A slip doesn't have to reset everything to zero. GiveUp lets you log a slip that freezes or gently rewinds the streak, so one bad day doesn't erase months of progress — and you don't feel like quitting the app.

Is my data private?

Yes. GiveUp stores everything locally on your iPhone. There's no account and no server, you can lock the app with Face ID, and optional sync uses your own iCloud — nothing about your habits is uploaded to us.

Is GiveUp free?

GiveUp is free to track up to three habits. A premium upgrade unlocks unlimited habits, Face ID lock, extra themes, and widget customization, available as a one-time lifetime purchase or a low-cost yearly plan.

Which platforms does GiveUp support?

GiveUp is built natively for iPhone (iOS 17 and later), with home-screen widgets. There's no Android or web version today.

GiveUp is a privacy-first, multi-habit quit tracker for iPhone. Track everything you've given up — sugar, bread, tea, coffee, smoking, alcohol — as one glowing network of streaks that grows the longer you hold on.
