GiveUp Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using GiveUp, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms apply to the GiveUp application for iPhone.

GiveUp is a personal habit-quitting tracker that lets you monitor multiple abstinence streaks, log relapses, and see savings and reclaimed time. The app stores your data locally and, if you choose, syncs it through your own iCloud account. GiveUp does not provide a backend account system or server-side storage of your data.

GiveUp is a motivational and tracking tool, not a medical device or a substitute for professional care. It does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical, psychological, or addiction-treatment advice. If you are dealing with a serious dependency or health issue, please consult a qualified professional. You use GiveUp at your own discretion and responsibility.

You are responsible for the habits and information you choose to track and for how you act on what the app shows you. Because your data is stored on your device, safeguarding your device and any iCloud account you use for sync is your responsibility.

GiveUp is free to track up to three habits. A premium upgrade unlocks unlimited habits, Face ID lock, additional themes, and widget customization.

• Premium is offered as a one-time lifetime purchase and/or an auto-renewing yearly subscription.
• Purchases are billed through the App Store and managed by Apple.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings.

Because your data is stored locally, you are responsible for keeping backups. GiveUp offers optional iCloud sync, but we are not responsible for data lost due to device failure, deletion, an issue with iCloud, or uninstalling the app. We recommend enabling iCloud sync if your history is important to you.

The GiveUp app, its name, design, the Habit Mesh visualization, and its software are owned by TrackIt and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or to copy, modify, or distribute the app except as permitted by the App Store's standard license terms.

GiveUp relies on third-party services, including Adapty for subscriptions, Amplitude for anonymous analytics, and Apple iCloud for optional sync. Your use of those services through the app is also subject to their respective terms.

GiveUp is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular outcome in changing your habits.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrackIt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use GiveUp.

We may modify or discontinue features of GiveUp and may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised “last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
